With a lifetime of lighting design experience nurtured in the family-owned lighting showroom where he spent much of his youth, Thad brings energy, creativity, and a unique perspective to everything he does at V Three Studios. Having studied psychology, audio production and philosophy before earning his Master of Architecture from Washington University, Thad is a critical thinker with a passion for finding the ideal design solution for every project. He has nearly a decade of experience providing architectural design services for corporate, commercial, educational, civic, and hospitality clients. He has been a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) since 2016 and served as the IES St. Louis Section president in 2019. He has won multiple IES lighting design awards and AIA St. Louis design awards.

In his spare time, Thad enjoys playing and recording music, spending time outdoors with his wife, two dogs, and chickens, and reading thought-provoking literature. His dream is to one day establish a permaculture food forest and seasonal garden on a plot of land with a nice body of water.
