Continuing a successful 15-year collaboration, V Three Studios recently undertook an ambitious project for Beasley Media Group: the relocation of its entire Boston broadcast facility to a new 25,000 sq ft space.

Presented with the challenge of an existing U-shaped structure with an unusual serpentine layout and odd angles, V3 leveraged its expertise in blending intricate technical requirements with striking design, turning these challenges into sources of design inspiration. The building's exterior features bronze ribbon windows, while frameless glass surrounds shared interior light wells. V3's design for Beasley's new space embraced these features, extending the frameless glass to enhance visibility into the Technical Operations Center, performance studio, and two distinct lobbies—one a primary lobby, the other dedicated to 17 broadcast on-air and production studios.

The broadcast team's various departments are organized around a winding spine that gracefully navigates the serpentine space. Blue soffits were strategically incorporated as a unifying element, framing views and accent walls, traversing across corridors as the program's diverse spaces unfold. The layout places the Lobby, Breakroom, and Performance Studio at one end, and the Broadcast On-Air and Production Studios at the other, with Administrative, Sales, and Promo and Marketing teams conveniently located in the middle.

Beasley Broadcast Group is a multiplatform media company committed to delivering top-tier content and services. The company owns 62 radio properties across the country and reaches over 20 million consumers weekly. This new project, completed by V3, empowers Beasley to continue delivering on its commitment in a space designed to facilitate innovation and collaboration.
