Thirsty Planet Brewing Company has enjoyed enormous success in recent years as its award-winning beers and avid support of the Austin music scene have established it as a favorite among locals. With the capacity maxed out at its current facility, Thirsty Planet recently asked V Three Studios to help expand its operations from 10,000 barrels/year to an upgraded 30,000 barrels/year. The new facility will also allow room for the brewery to grow, eventually expanding to 150,000 barrels/year in the future.
The new 59,450 sq. ft. facility will include a brewery, tasting room and outdoor live performance venue with a capacity of 800-1,000 people. The modern design of the building’s interior and exterior will feature large glass panels that allow visitors to watch as their favorite beers are created right in front of them. As the music and craft brewing community continues to expand in Austin, this new brewery, beginning construction in 2016, will be at the center of it all.
